Post 12 Changes
At the beginning Luke is very laid back and calm person everything is good in his life... He has his girl, his star Status at school, and he just became the "youngest forensic investigator in the world." In the middle there are signs of him kind of losing that status since he would be leaving that school and starting his career, he is number one suspect in his own murder case, and finds out that his one true love is going to be with someone else just because he's in the science field and she (jade) is in the music field...Towards the end Luke has been through so much lost and frustartion. Yes he finds the person that framed him, but he got sepreated from his girl. I dont know about him, but if that was me I would give anything to have her back...

Post 11 Tough Cookie
In "Framed!" I think that Luke is the toughest character in the novel just for the fact that he has alot of enemies and/or someone who would love to see him fall. Luke has been threw heart break and frustration. He has lost the one love his life. I think if i was Luke i would kill my self, because number one at work he is the suspect then when he comes home from all the frustration he has to deal with someone else being paired with his (LOVE) Jade.
Post 10 Conflict Galore
The first conflict in Framed would be Luke being in love with someone that he could never be with.. Because they were both in different career choices and the school did not allow students to mix.. Even while they celebrated together,Luke was saddened.Graduation-the end of school-that meant he wouldn't see Jade everyday.Their profession would soon seperate them because they will soon leave Birmingham".The second conflict would be that of finding out who framed him and trying to prove him self innocent. Luke smiled wryly. 'good news and bad news. I've got a strong suspect, according to Malc. The bad news is... its me"

Post 9 A title by choice
I do think that "FRAMED!" is a good name for the book, because the book is about a guy named Luke who is an investigator gets framed for his first murder of his career. "Luke smiled wryly. 'good news and bad news. I've got a strong suspect, according to Malc. The bad news is... its me"
Now that the story unfolds Luke has to try to prove that he is inocent.

Framed!
This book is about a 16 year old boy named Luke Harding. He is the youngest person to become a forensic investigator. He is very smart and determined. The story is very good because on Luke's first murder case all the evidence points to him and he has to find the way to get him self out and catch the real murder.

The End and the Dynamic Protagonist
At the beginning of the novel Matt, the main character, was very naive and didnt really know about the "outside" world. He had been locked in a house out in the fields all his life never experiencing love, hate, or hurt. Once Matt "escaped" the first thing that happened was he got all cut up by glass and never had felt anything like that feeling. As the book went on Matt started to learn different types of emotions like fear from Rose, hate for Tom, and love for Maria. He went from naive and immature to a clever and tough young man. This change is important because it shows how humans evolve from one thing to the oppoisite. I know everyone changes but there are some of us that change dramatically. I know when i was little i wanted everything! Every toy, all the shoes, and clothes. I remember only that being that little and seeing my dad but then shortly after my brother and I moved to my grandmothers house where we stayed for 9 years. Thats when my mom moved us with her into a new house thats when i grew up only at the age of 9, when my baby sister was born, I didnt really like playing with toys or playing games I wanted to be where the guys were playing and talking to them. Til this day i think I had grown up to quick and wished to go back and change things but i can't. Even so im very happy with my life and what i have become a mature smart loving women.
I love this book even though i only read like 3 books in my life. This one has to be number 2. I have already recommended this book to my friends, but they just looked at me like i was stupid. Then i after i told them it was a book that was mainly about a poweriful drug lord then they wanted to know where they can find it...

The Round Protagonist
In "The house of the scorpion" Matt, the protagonist, learns about clones and how they were created. During he book they explain how they are bread in cows and how the clones are treated in the regular world. "You were grown in that poor cow for nine months, and then you were cut out of her. You were harvested. She was sacriificed. Thats the term they use when they kill a poor lab animal. Your stepmother was turned into rubby T-bone Steaks." At the start of the novel Matt doesn't really understand the concept of being a clone,a replica of a human. He just knows that a clone is more or less like the family dog. Matt feels I guess customed to being like the dog. Basically he has accepted his name and status for what he really is...

Insight
Quote: "Matt wasn't a boy. He was a beast."
This quote is a very harsh quote because in the story the clone is a perfect replica of a human, but he can never be "normal". All of the Alacran family hate Matt just because he is a clone, they call him such words like "animal" and "beast". Often they compare him to the family dog, and Matt often starts to think that he is like the dog.

The Science Behind
In the House of the scorpion the scienced used in the story is cloning. In the story they basically explain how the process of cloning started and the ups and downs of this process. They start off by telling you a story of how they plant the embryo into the cow. These special cows are the ones that deliver the "babies". Some clones do not make it threw this process and they are terminated.
